On Wednesday, in science, we explored the weather as we noticed it had been raining a lot lately.
The children wanted to find out precisely how much rain was falling, so we searched on BBC and found instructions for how to make a rain gauge.
The children worked in 5 teams to cut and make their rain gauge.
We then filled the gauge with stones to ensure the wind wouldn’t knock them over and took them to the field.
We will wait a week and then go back to see how much it has rained!
