When the snow fell on Thursday, Year 6 made use of the free resource – braving the cold and using the snow to our advantage!

Focusing on fractions, decimals and percentages, we created snowballs and pushed them into the wall. We then counted the number of snowballs on the wall and thought carefully about this as a fraction – converting it to a decimal and finding the equivalent percentages.

This was a fun, fantastic way to look at fractions and their equivalences in a practical way!
