On Wednesday, Nursery and Reception had great fun visiting Hall Hill Farm…
Once we got to the farm we were greeted by the staff there, who went through all of the rules that we need to follow when visiting a Farm – including washing our hands which is very important. The guides then took us around the farm in our groups and we got to see lots of different animals – we even fed some too! We saw pigs; donkeys; Llamas; Highland Cows; Chicks; Guineas Pigs and Lambs and lots more!
We all had our lunch near the soft play – which meant once we were all full we could burn off more energy in the soft play which was great fun. Later, Farmer Keith took us all on a Tractor ride; we had to hold on tight as this was very bumpy. We went around the farm and watched the Llamas being fed bananas- they were really funny when they ran for their food. We then watched a ‘sheep race’ where all the sheep had great names – such as ‘Ed Sheeram’ and ‘Wooly Wonker’.
Well done to all of the children who showed how grown up they all were with their excellent behaviour and attitude on the trip!
