Our local police officers drop in to say hello…

This week, two of our local police officers (PC Neale and his colleague) dropped in to talk to our Year 6 about responsible use of ICT / social media. They also very kindly took the time to speak with other pupils in the yard and during lunch! It was great to meet them!

School Parliament Breaking News!!

This week, we held our second school parliamentary meeting of this academic year. We discussed a range of issues raised by our elected class MP’s (on behalf of pupil’s throughout KS2) and also welcomed a visit from Mrs Tetley – who wanted to share some exciting plans and possible developments with us all!

Year 5 ‘act out’ some Ancient Greek mythology!

To kick start our topic on the Ancient Greeks, we took part in a drama workshop – where we explored the Myths and legends of ancient Greece, including the Gods, Monsters and some of their famous heroes in a fast moving practical drama workshop.
